The New Miami Board of Education meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month at 5 p.m. in the high school media center, unless otherwise noted.

2026 OSBA Southwest Region Fall Conference

New Miami School Board members Ms. Ms. Davidson, Ms. Rison, Mr. Cook and Mr. Chapman attended the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) Southwest Region meeting, at the Warren County Career Center in Lebanon, OH, on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.

New Miami Local School Board Vice President Randy Cook received the STAR award for aptitude from the Ohio School Boards Association during the Southwest Region Fall Conference.

OSBA Capital Conference

2024 Fall SW Regional Conference

Members and Administrators from the New Miami Local School Board participated in the Ohio School Boards Association Southwest Regional Fall Awards Banquet. Board Vice-President Mr. Randy Cook and Board Member Mr. Daniel Marcum received the OSBA STAR Aptitude Award, recognizing their dedication and commitment to exemplary board membership. Additionally, Mr. Marcum was reappointed as the New Miami Representative for the Southwest Regional Committee.

Board Member Selected

The New Miami Board of Education has selected Ms. Kim Rison to fill the seat and complete the term vacated by Mr. Daniel Marcum.

Ms. Rison was officially sworn in during the August 27, 2026, Board of Education meeting. We are excited to welcome Ms. Rison to the New Miami Board of Education and look forward to her service to our students, staff, and community.

We would also like to wish Mr. Marcum all the best in his new endeavors and thank him for his service to the New Miami Local School District.

Scholarship Fund

2025 OSBA Southwest Region Fall Conference

New Miami School Board members Ms. Benson, Ms. Davidson, and Mr. Cook attended the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) Southwest Region meeting in Wilmington, Ohio on Thursday, October 9th.

Gold Level AwardThe New Miami Board of Education was once again a recipient of the OSBA Gold Level Effective School Board Award at the Southwest Region OSBA Spring Conference, held Thursday, March 6, 2025, at the Green County Career Center. Mr. Roy Chapman was recognized as a 10-year Veteran Board Member and Mr. Daniel Marcum received The OSBA Star Training Award. Congratulations to the New Miami School Board for all their hard work on behalf of our students and staff.
