My name is Heaven Morgan, and I am a registered nurse. I am the school nurse at New Miami Local School District, grades preK-12. I have been a nurse since 2013. I am currently attending a local university for my Master’s in Education. New Miami holds a special place in my heart, it is where I graduated high school, where I met my husband (in the 1st grade :)) and where my daughters attend school. I know this year hasn't been what anyone could have expected, but I promise to care for, protect, and love your students.

I have a unique position as a nurse in an academic setting.  School nursing is a specialized practice of nursing that advances the well-being, academic success, and life-long achievement of students. School nurses provide services to the entire school population, including school staff, and the community.

Health and learning go hand in hand.  As the school nurse, I have a multi-faceted role within the school setting; one that supports the physical, mental, emotional, and social health of our students all while supporting their academic success.

"Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience".
