BUSINESS ADVISORY COUNCIL
The New Miami Local School District is a part of the Butler County Educational Service Center / Butler Tech Business Advisory Council. This Council is led by the leadership of Butler Tech and its Workforce Development Department.
The Business Advisory Council operates with the vision: To prepare today’s students for tomorrow’s jobs.
The Council meets quarterly with the mission: To create learning experiences that will transform students’ lives, business, and the community.
The members of the Business Advisory Council include educators, business and industry leaders, trade and professional organizations, elected officials as well as members of the area Chamber of Commerce(s).

Re: Effective School Board Award - Gold Level Recognition
The southwest region Ohio School Boards Association is proud to recognize the New Miami Local Board of Education for having achieved the "Gold Level" for Effective School Boards. To reach this level takes the positive cooperation of the board, superintendent, treasurer, and administration.

Mrs. Carbary was presented with an award to recognize her 15 years of service with the Ohio School Boards Association. Mr. Ron Diver from OSBA delivered the award at the New Miami Board of Education meeting on October 26th. Congratulations, Mrs. Carbary!
The New Miami Board of Education recognized several community and staff members at its recent meeting on June 29th. Mr. Dan Must from Advanced Drainage Systems received a New Miami Business Partnership award recommended by the Ohio School Boards Association. Four retiring staff members received a clock along with congratulations for their dedicated years of service to New Miami Local Schools: Mary McNeal; cafeteria, Betty Justice; cafeteria, Joy Hall; cafeteria and Lucy Euvrard; 5th grade teacher (not pictured).

Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) Southwest Region Spring Conference
lThe New Miami Board of Education received several awards at the OSBA Southwest Region Spring Conference held on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at the Warren County Career Center. The board received a "Five Plus Gold" award for being an Effective School Board. Mrs. Eleanor Carbary received a 15-year Veteran Board Member award and Mr. Randy Cook received a 30-year Distinguished Board Member award. The New Miami Board of Education is commended for their continued dedication and commitment to public education.
Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) Fall Conference 2016
All five members of the New Miami Board of Education attended the Ohio School Board Capital Conference in November.
With the ever-changing issues, laws, policies, rules, and regulations, it is important for our School Board to stay current on issues facing education.

The New Miami Local School District's Financial Report for the fiscal year 2017 has been completed and is available for public inspection at the Treasurer's Office; 600 Seven Mile avenue; Hamilton, Ohio 45011.
Financial reports are available for review in the Treasurer's Office.
