Dear New Miami Families:

As a district, New Miami is preparing to continue the education of our students during this unprecedented closure due to the Coronavirus-19. Please be sure to keep up to date on information being sent out via ClassDojo, Google Classroom, New Miami Facebook, and all calls.  We will be communicating with you during the next few weeks to ensure the safety and health of our community.

The following learning paths are being created for New Miami students:

  • Pre-K will have assignments posted on ClassDojo that will include videos and Heggerty lessons.

  • Blizzard bags are being sent home grades K-2 for students.  In these bags students will have assignments and supplies that they will need.

  • Students 3-12 will have online learning paths.  Teachers will be posting assignments, lessons, and activities to continue students' exposure to classroom content.

The goal during this closure is that students are spending time daily Monday-Friday completing tasks to continue their growth.  Online work should be completed and turned in as students finish it. Blizzard bags should be completed and work will be turned in upon school resuming.

Please watch for communication regarding technology use at home.  Information to come soon.

As always we appreciate our community coming together during this time.

Sincerely,

Kara Hanges-Brakhage, Middle and High School Principal

Kim Davidson, Director of Curriculum and Instruction
